Why do you think they used the alien resurrection/cloned xenomorph design (less biomechanical look) in avp and avpr instead of the original drone and warrior designs (more biomechanical look) I ask because the xenomorphs in avp and avpr use the exact same body design that the cloned xenomorphs had in alien resurrection and their new look in resurrection was explained as being a side effect of the cloning and the only difference between the xenomorphs in alien resurrection is that they are brown, in avp they are black and in avpr they are silver and have a carved ridged head instead of the normal ridged head of the xenomorph warriors like in aliens and a little note there is even a special edition figure of the xenomorphs in avp where they are brown and they look exactly like the resurrection xenomorphs
Also I ask this because if we were going by lore the design for the xenomorphs in avp and avpr wouldn't make sense because of alien resurrection stating the design was changed and altered do to the cloning process as I said before
Resurrection warrior
Avp xenomorph young warrior (the director explained that these aren't drones but premature warriors before they shed their dome crest)
Above is the standard xenomorph warrior figure from avp aka the black version and below is the special edition of the xenomorph warrior from avp and it is brown just like the resurrection warrior
Avpr xenomorph warrior carved
It's like the xenomorphs design is becoming less and less biomechanical as the years go by and below here is the drone/stalker xenomorph from alien covenant (also it isn't a protomorph because the deacon is the proto xenomorph and in the book for alien covenant the xenomorph had a biomechanical mesoskeleton unlike in the movie and ridley Scott stated that it was an intentional design choice for the xenomorph drone not to have a biomechanical look not a lore choice so the drones in covenant are in fact the exact same creature like the big chap)
And here is the big chap drone xenomorph from alien which has a more biomechanical look
And below here is the drone from alien resurrection
And below here is a xenomorph warrior from aliens
The resurrection warrior and avp warrior even have the same face
Resurrection warrior above and avp warrior below
And below is the bigchap drone from alien and the warrior from aliens and below that is the drone from alien covenant
Also one last thing I'm not saying I don't like the new designs because I do and I actually like the resurrection xenomorphs the most and I am legitimately curious as to why they decided to keep using the less biomechanical look
Why did the Newborn in Alien Resurrection Kill the Queen, who gave Birth to it, and Immediately assume Ripley was its Mother? What made the Newborn Kill the Queen? And WHY did the Queen NOT Sense the Newborn was going to Kill her? AND Why didn't the Aliens come to the Queen's aid and Attack the Newborn when she was Killed like they did Aliens (Ripley had Rescued Newt and they Stumbled into the Nest where the Eggs were and saw the Queen laying the Eggs. The Warriors IMMEDIATELY Started to mobilize and slowly Entered the Nest to Protect the Queen, until Ripley Used the Flamethrower and demonstrated to the Queen what she would do to her Eggs if she was Attacked, the Queen Screamed in Rage, but Immediately Nodded to the Warriors to Back-off. Then when 1 Egg started to Hatch. ((This is what I am Referring to here: Ripley, Burned and Shot up and threw Grenades in the Nest in Retaliation. The Queen Screamed Enraged and the Warriors started to Attack and that Behavior shows how the Aliens Protect the Queen even when she's Attacked.))
