Might be an old subject, but I just wanted to know who was disappointed when Prey skipped theaters and when straight to stream?

I wished they put it in theatres.
Definitely an old subject, but Prey being sent straight to streaming services was the ideal strategy as all movie installations in the Predator franchise have an inclination to flop. And, in the end, it paid off so this could theoretically open the door for a proper theatrical release for a potential sequel to Prey due to its success.
I rather enjoy my tv setup at home but I'm wanting a physical blu-ray and digital VUDU copies for my collection. When are we getting physical/digital release copies outside of Hulu? I assum this is what will happen with Romulus and Hawley's Alien Hulu series.
Yeah, it would be alright if they would just release the damn digital copy! Unfortunately, it might stay a Hulu exclusive.
Blu-ray.com has it listed as a TBD upcoming release so at least a physical copy is on the way? Who knows. So, yeah.. not pumped about the "exclusive" part. Gotta have my physical copies for the collection, yo!
Same here, I prefer the DVD rather than just stream. It could end up an exclusive if Hulu pays for it…
Also, just to be clear, I do understand why the studio didn’t choose to put it in theaters or on DVD right away and just keep it on streaming, but it just makes it hard to watch for most people without Hulu.
