Oh yes i would love for this to happen it should have been at least a comic

Funny thing is that the second Species film had the main infections come from a black liquid of sorts, the design of the creatures was by H.R Giger, so potentially it wouldnt be too bad.

That all being said, crossovers doesn't always work out well, case in point the AVP movies.

Some were more than others. Comics tend to be a medium where it works because its not taken as seriously. Anything goes in comics, while films would probably need to be more serious. Look how The Predator movie turned out. Its practically a parody.

The tone of Alien was fairly grounded at the start, but by adding other stuff, it no longer becomes something plausible and you have to not only suspend your disbelief but possibly any knowledge of rules of science. Resurrection is where it really went crazy and Prometheus and Covenant did not help.

The Predator franchise features amazing technology that we don't know is possible such as plasma casters and cloaking but in Alien, nothing outlandish is really shown except for maybe ship speed, cryosleep and the alien life form, but even then the Alien does have plausible traits based on real life insects.

My point is that crossover requires combining the lore and rules of another franchise and it may not always be compatible.
